Admission to Community Home Care & Hospice is not based upon the ability to pay. Inherent in the philosophy of hospice is that every patient, no matter their income, deserves quality care and comfort.
Community Hospice accepts reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, Champus/Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and other third party payers. Arrangements are made for patients without insurance and social workers will help families apply for Medicaid and community resources.
Community Home Care & Hospice is a preferred provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and TriCare. Most insurance companies pay for hospice services and are arranged on a case-by-case basis.
Case managers specialized in working with insurance companies will assist patients. A sliding-fee schedule is also available.
